The Nintendo Dolphin Launch Rumor

I know everyone has heard about the Nintendo Dolphin launch. I remember it as just a rumor and I refused to believe all the kids that were talking about this NEW system that was coming out that they were “going” to get. After reading this interview with George Harrison in the August 2000 issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly magazine I was shocked to see that they were talking about it actually coming out. Here is the excerpt;

EGM: last year when Dolphin was first announced that it would use DVD but not play DVD movies. That was before Sony announced that PS2 would play movies. Has that position changed at all?

So I have a bunch of OLD game magazines that I was recently reading through and thought it would be a great idea to post some stuff to remind of us of what was “Hot” oh’so many years ago. So what would we have to say about it now is it still worth going back and playing today, buying the system as a collectible or for sentimental value, do you ask yourself, “Why did I put SO many hours into this game?”, I guess that is what was good back then. You’ll See things you miss, or glad that their gone. You might see some things that bring back strong memories throwing your controller against the wall or of stuff you just LOVE to play.
